Scots Sparkle Again in Sporthallen Zuid!

ONCE AGAIN the Amstel International Tournament maintained its reputation for free-scoring, exciting competition.

In the end though, it was another decisive victory for Scotland (right) with skipper Nat McDowall and talismanic forward Ricky Steadman both picking up historic fourth winners medals.

The shock troops of the Europa Select claimed the silver spot courtesy of an enthralling come-from-behind win over Marcus Pagett’s England. And while Barend van der Maas and his Netherlands outfit had little to show in terms of results, they were worthy competitors in what was a splendid afternoon of futsal at Sporthallen Zuid.
