FAB FIVE SERVE UP AN OKTOBERFEST

The Autumn Cup 2010 lived up to all expectations.

All five teams deserve much credit for producing one of the finest-ever Eurofives tournaments.

Despite a brave showing from the three English sides, victory eventually went to the skilful SPM Amstelveen who defeated Amsterdam-based Huxley Associates in the final.

The local teams were pushed all the way though, in a group stage full of twists and turns.

With only three matches remaining, all five teams were still in with a chance of silverware after a sparkling performance from Chris Jackson’s RBS London turned the table on its head.

Marcus Pagett’s Barclays Birmingham and Steve Bastow’s ANG Baildon also produced some memorable moments before bowing out.

Roll on 2011!
