DAVENTRY PIPPED BY A DUTCH OF CLASS!

ThiS YEAR’s Autumn Cup proved an intriguing contest as two debutant teams from the UK faced up to two Dutch sides in an international challenge.

In the end, Simple Seven Daventry came close to a sensational victory only to be thwarted by a spectacular late goal from Kunstgras Amsterdam.

The Chemistry Group from Berkshire also put on a bright showing on their first outing at Eurofives while injury-hit Van Schie made their usual entertaining contribution with a spirited play-off win.

All in all, it was a splendid afternoon of friendly futsal - roll on next time!
