T-M-B AND RENAULT IN TOP GEAR BUT MIDSHIRES EDGE IT! |

The 2005 HBOS Trophy saw some tremendous action as 12 teams of young and
not-so-young assembled in Amsterdam for some friendly fun and to contest the
group silverware. In the end, it was the Birmingham Midshires
IT Wolves who were the overall champs, having the best record of the three
group winners. On the opening
weekend, Midshires put on their scoring boots to
claim the Group A title ahead of a fine FS Bristol team. Meanwhile Chester
outfit The Mortgage Business were the Sunday best in Van Hogendorp,
topping Group B with a 100% record. The second weekend
threw up a close contest in De Pijp Sporthal with Renault FS of Maple Cross taking the
Group C honours ahead of a constantly-improving Claims@Home
side, HEA Midlands and HBOS Southampton. Well
done to all the participants for competing in a fine spirit and making the
2005 HBOS Trophy a hugely enjoyable event! _______________ |
