GRADS DO THE BIS!

James Gang Edge out Gallant Lombard!

The SEVENTH edition of the Eurofives RBS Trophy tournament produced a hugely enjoyable and exciting afternoon of action.

James Bisgrove and his RBS Graduates were worthy champions but all the teams can take great credit for producing one of the tightest tourneys ever seen at Eurofives.

Newcomers Lombard Debt sensationally recovered from an opening loss to pip record title holders Futsal Wanderers on goal difference for a place in the final.

Meanwhile their colleagues from Lombard Allstars, inspired by the experienced Gordon Malcolm, also acquitted themselves well. And although Ben Tickler’s Grads B side didn’t enjoy much luck with results, they ran their stablemates oh-so-close in a scintillating Grads ‘derby’.

Winning skipper James Bisgrove was understandably delighted.

“I’m thrilled to be taking the 2010 trophy back to London,” said James. “This was the most competitive tournament we've played and the guys responded brilliantly.”

All in all, it was another great advert for Eurofives futsal!
