TURKISH DELIGHT!

Debutants All Shine But It’s Ankara Who’ll Need The Silver Polish!

The THIRD Eurofives Summer Cup tournament produced some engrossing futsal as teams from three countries went head-to-head at Amsterdam’s Blauw-wit hal.

Despite some highly-creditable performances by the other teams, the event ultimately concluded in a double triumph for Ankarakartalspor (left) whose ‘A’ and ‘C’ teams lifted the silverware. The victory for Yildiray Kanat’s men means that Turkiye becomes the seventh UEFA member country to have enjoyed success at Eurofives.

New boys HBOS Leicester and City and Guilds London will be very proud of their debuts while veteran campaigners CM Maastricht (left) demonstrated their continued development with a very decent showing in a tough group.
