A BRIGHT JUNE AFTERNOON

Eurofives Futsallers Shine in Osdorp

The Amsterdam suburb of Osdorp witnessed some sizzling action on Saturday when the fourth series of the Eurofives Summer Cup took place at the Calandhal.

Marcus Pagett’s new-look Barclays Birmingham made a promising appearance on the continental stage while Erik-Jan ten Hove and RBS Utrecht also played their part in some highly-entertaining group action.

After some keenly-contested matches, the final came down to a showdown between the impressive Noord-Holland GT (left) and Jerome Martougin’s FS Amsterdam who had been in inspired scoring form from the off.

Fittingly, a goal-fest ensued between the local rivals with Berc and his Noord-Holland outfit securing the trophy after an exciting 5-3 triumph.

It was a Super Summer Saturday indeed!
