The inaugural Willow Cup took place in Amsterdam last weekend and proved an outstanding success.

After two groups of entertaining futsal, it was Daniel Collings and his men from The Buying Team who scooped the overall title with the best record of the visiting sides from Britain and Ireland.

However each and every one of the competing teams can be immensely proud of their contribution to this memorable event, which raised well in excess of 1,000 Euros for the Willow Foundation.

* The Willow Foundation is a national charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 through the provision of special days. It was established by former Arsenal and Scotland star Bob Wilson (left) and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna who died of cancer aged 31.
